• All your preferences (name, news settings) are stored locally on your device using Async Storage.
• We do not store any user data on our servers or third-party servers at this time.

• We may introduce analytics, targeted advertising, and cloud-based data storage to improve user experience.

4. Data Sharing

Currently:

• We do not share your personal data with any third parties.

Slash does not create original news. All news content is sourced from third-party providers, displayed in a concise card format, and includes attribution and links to the original source. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these third-party websites.

Slash is safe for users of all ages. However, if you are under 13, please use the App with parental supervision.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices to secure your locally stored data. However, no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your Rights

• You can choose not to share your location (this will limit location-based news).
• You can delete the App at any time to remove all locally stored data.
• You can opt out of notifications via your device settings.
